Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung visits Cavalry Mobile Police Corps

Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on June 2 visited the Cavalry Mobile Police Corps under the Mobile Police Command located in Thai Nguyen province.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Huy Hanh, Commander of the Cavalry Mobile Police Corps briefed the Deputy Minister on the unit’s task performance over the past time. Although the corps was newly established, it has quickly consolidated its organization and promoted professional training for its officers and soldiers.

The Cavalry Mobile Police Corps, in coordination with experts, has tamed and trained more than 60 horses as well as equipped its officers and soldiers with knowledge of horse, horse-riding skills and the use of horses in fighting crimes, ensuring national security and social order. 

Particularly, the Cavalry Mobile Police Corps has been practicing a cavalry police parade drill in order to perform in national important events.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung praised the efforts of the Cavalry Mobile Police Corps over the past five months.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung asked the unit to pay due attention to taming and training horses as well as developing a contingent of police veterinarians. The unit should also learn experience in horse caring and training from experts.
