Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung works with staff of Ninh Khanh Prison

PSNews - Recently, Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security (MPS), led a delegation to visit the Ninh Khanh Prison (located in Ninh Binh province) on the 1st of October.

At the meeting, Colonel Tran Duc Phong, Chief Warder of the Ninh Khanh Prison, briefed the deputy minister and delegates on the prison staff’s task performance, stating that the Party Committee and leaders of the Ninh Khanh Prison have strictly followed the Party's guidelines, State policies and laws, and the MPS’ instructions on criminal judgment execution and prison management while performing their tasks.

The Ninh Khanh Prison staff has always maintained unity and successfully completed the assigned tasks. They have made many outstanding achievements in management, re-education and rehabilitation of prisoners.

In order to ensure security and safety of the prison, all police officers and workers at the prison regularly drilled in handling unexpected situations and opened courses on politics, laws and civic education for prisoners. They also carried out policies for inmates in line with laws.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung praised and acknowledged the achievements of all police officers and workers at the Ninh Khanh Prison over the past time. He also asked them to implement professional measures and plans to ensure security and safety of the prison in any situations.

The deputy minister required the Ninh Khanh Prison’s leaders, officers, and soldiers to raise their responsibilities in performing their duties while building close relationships with local authorities to maintain security and safety of prisons. They were also requested to carry out policies for inmates, and provide favorable conditions for them to serve their sentences and soon return to their families.
