On November 12, 1945, comrade Le Binh, Hero of the People’s Armed Forces and his national self-defense team called “suicide squad,” attacked the headquarters of the French colonialists and bravely sacrificed their lives in the place.
In 2006, this place was recognized by the Can Tho municipal authority as a city-level historical and cultural site.
In July 2017, it became the traditional house for the Can Tho City police, showcasing photos and artifacts of generations of the Can Tho police forces in the war against the French and the US, and in the period of building and protecting our nation.
At the traditional house, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi and the delegation paid floral tribute to heroic martyrs of the Public Security Forces, who had bravely fought and sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and for happiness of the people.
He hoped that the Can Tho police forces will continue to promote the heroic tradition of the previous generations and successfully fulfill their assigned political tasks for the peaceful life of the people.
