Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang attends 30th Party Congress of Department of Surveillance

Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security, in July attended the 30th Party Congress in the term 2020-2025 of the Department of Surveillance under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS). Major General Doan Hong Son, Director of the Department of Surveillance chaired the event.

According to reports at the congress, 44 teams and 664 individuals at the department were praised by the Party, the State, and the MPS for their outstanding achievements at work during the previous term.

At the event, delegates gave ideas to the draft political report for the 7th Public Security Party Congress and discussed objectives and tasks for the department’s Party organization in the term of 2020-2025.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang spoke highly of the achievements obtained by the Department of Surveillance’s Party Committee over the past time, saying that they greatly contributed to the general success of the Public Security Forces in implementing the 6th Public Security Central Party Congress’ Resolution.

Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that, in the coming time, the department should strictly follow the directives, resolutions and guidelines of the Party Central Committee and the Public Security Central Party Committee on protecting national security, maintaining social order and building the Public Security Forces.

Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang requested members of the department’s Party Committee in the next term to set examples and unite with one another in performing their tasks while enhancing inspection and supervision of Party work among the department’s officers and soldiers, contributing to successfully implement the Congress’ Resolution.

At the congress, delegates elected the new Party Executive Committee of the department with 19 members and a delegation to attend the 7th Public Security Central Party Congress.
