Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang meets with Head of Vietnamese Mission to EU

PSNews - Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security had a meeting on May 25 with newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Belgium and Head of the Vietnamese Delegation to the European Union (EU) Nguyen Van Thao.

Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security had a meeting on May 25 with newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Belgium and Head of the Vietnamese Delegation to the European Union (EU) Nguyen Van Thao.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang congratulated Ambassador Nguyen Van Thao on his new appointment and expressed delight at the flourishing relations between Vietnam and Belgium as well as between Vietnam and the EU in general over the past time

The Public Security Deputy Minister believed that, in his new position, Ambassador Nguyen Van Thao will foster the good cooperative relationship between Vietnam and the EUwhile helping expand the cooperation between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and EU law enforcement agencies, especially in crime prevention and control, and cyber security.

Ambassador Nguyen Van Thao thanked the Public Security Ministry’s leader for his congratulations and promised to serve as a bridge between Vietnam and the EU and further promote friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the EU countries in general, between Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and relevant EU agencies in the time to come.
