Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc receives Algerian Ambassador to Vietnam

Speaking at the reception, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc emphasized that Vietnam always treasures the traditional friendship and ties between the two countries. He took the chance to thank the Algerian people for their great support for the Vietnamese people in their national liberation wars in the past.

He affirmed that the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Algeria has seen positive developments in all fields, including the cooperation between the two sides in crime prevention and control, making an important contribution to maintaining national security, stability and social order as well as to promoting national socio-economic development of each country.

The deputy minister also suggested the two sides should continue to maintain exchange of information and experience in national security and police work. The two sides should also expand  cooperation in preventing and fighting terrorism, cybercrime, training language skills and ensuring security and safety for people and businesses of one country in each country.

Sincerely thanking the host for the kind reception, Mr. Mohamed Berrah, Algerian Ambassador spoke highly of the time-honored trustworthy ties between Vietnam and Algeria.

He believed that the Algerian law enforcement agencies and the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security will promote their cooperation in a practical and effective manner, contributing to strengthening the relationship and cooperation between the two countries
