Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security on May 15 chaired the monthly meeting with people at the citizen reception hall of the Ministry of Public Security in Hanoi.

At the meeting, citizens took the chance to hand their complaints and denunciations as well as expressed their issues to the Deputy Minister of Public Security.
After listening to them, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son clarified and received the complaints and denunciations one by one, and then answered questions within the responsibilities of the Ministry of Public Security.
He also asked the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Public Security to assign relevant units and agencies of the Ministry to soon resolve the remaining complaints and report the results to the Ministry’s leaders, in accordance with law.
Regarding the complaints and denunciations that are out of the responsibilities of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son instructed the citizens to send their petitions to the right ministries and agencies for solutions.
The Ministry of Public Security holds a monthly meeting to answer citizens’ questions in accordance with the Law on Citizen Reception; Decree 64/2014/ND-CP dated June 26, 2014, detailing a number of articles of the Law on Reception of Citizens; and other documents of the Ministry of Public Security on citizen reception.
