Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son pays working visit to Tong Le Chan Prison
Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security on July 12 afternoon worked with the Tong Le Chan Prison’s staff (Hon Quan district, Binh Phuoc province), under the Police General Department of Criminal Verdict Execution and Judicial Assistance.
Colonel Tran Dinh Hai, Correctional Supervisor of the Tong Le Chan Prison stated that, from the beginning of 2017, all detention officers and workers at the jail have always exerted all-out efforts to overcome difficulties and successfully fulfilled assigned tasks.
In implementing their tasks, the Tong Le Chan Prison’s Directorate drew up working plans, strictly followed the unit’s political tasks, synchronously took specialized measures to promptly cope with dangerous prisoners as well as assisted prisoners in their correction process.

Addressing the working session, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son applauded and highly appreciated task performance of the Tong Le Chan Prison’s staff in the past while expressing his sympathy with difficulties and risks facing detention officers and soldiers at the prison.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son hoped that, with a high sense of responsibility and to deserve the trust by the Party, the State and the Ministry of Public Security and the general department, the Directorate and all detention officers and workers of the prison will overcome all challenges and difficulties, so as to complete their assignments in the coming time.
He also pointed out some key tasks, which the whole detention staff should closely focus on such as promoting the Party building and personnel work. In addition, the prison should foster close relations with local people, relevant agencies and other armed forces in Binh Phuoc province.
Moreover, the prison’s Directorate should continuously improve detention officers and workers’ sense of vigilance, and professional skills while ensuring security and safety of the prison.
