Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son works with Binh Duong Provincial Police

PSNews - A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security, led by its Deputy Minister, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, on October 14 visited and worked with the Binh Duong Provincial Police Department.

An overview of the meeting. 

At the meeting, Senior Colonel Trinh Ngoc Quyen, Director of the Binh Duong Provincial Police Department briefed the Deputy Minister and the delegation on the unit’s task performance in the past 10 months of 2019. According to the report, the provincial police have successfully investigated 532 criminal cases and arrested 695 persons involved, cracked down on 334 criminal gangs as well as discovered 561 drug-related cases.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son appreciated the efforts and merits of the local police in the past time. He also asked the provincial police to actively take measures to effectively suppress crimes.

The Deputy Minister also requested the Provincial Police to resolutely attack criminal gangs, and “black credit” rings while promoting dissemination of the laws in communities, fighting distorted and fake information of hostile forces, putting on the alert against non-traditional security threats and enhancing the efficiency of mass mobilization.
