After more than 5 years of establishment, the Da Nang Municipal Fire Police has developed strongly in both staff and equipment. In recent years, the number of fires and explosions in Da Nang city has reduced to a minimum, creating favorable conditions for the people and enterprises to live and work.

Especially, before the APEC Summit Week 2017, the Da Nang Municipal Fire Police in cooperation with relevant units drew up 45 fire fighting and rescue plans and carried out 25 drills at various accommodations for delegates and venues of events and activities.

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son praised the achievements of the Da Nang Municipal Fire Police, especially during the APEC Summit Week 2017. The results contributed significantly to the political security and social order and safety in the locality during the APEC Summit Week, and the success of the APEC Viet Nam 2017.

The Deputy Minister urged the Da Nang Municipal Police in the coming time continue to promote the achievements, and mobilize local people to join the force in well performing fire preventionwhile raising the awareness and responsibility of the public security officers for fulfilling their duties entrusted by the Party and the people, minimizing the number of fire and explosion incidents in the city to contribute to ensuring local security and order, fire safety.
