Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended the event.
Delegates at the meeting were briefed on the results of equipment, warehousing and transportation services for the Public Security Forces in the 2018-2020 period.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son applauded the efforts and achievements of the equipment and warehousing service force over the past time.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son asked the sector to grasp thoroughly the policies of the Ministry of Public Security on logistics and their assigned tasks, improve the effectiveness of the sector’s State management of equipment and warehousing services. He emphasized that all purchases of equipment should be carried out in accordance with the laws and meet the practical needs of public security agencies and units.

They should regularly organize training and re-training courses specializing in logistics for local police officers in charge of equipment, warehousing and transportation services.
The deputy Minister also asked all police units to give advice to the local Party committees, authorities to support the force in investing in logistic projects, contributing to ensuring security in the localities.
