PSNews - A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) headed by Deputy Minister Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son on March 2 worked with the police of Mai Chau district (Hoa Binh province).

Over the past time, the Mai Chau district police have thoroughly grasped the local situation and promptly advised the local authorities on solutions to maintain security in the district. Meanwhile, they exerted efforts to prevent crime while successfully investigating a number of criminal cases in the locality.

Additionally, the local police effectively promoted the “All people protect national security” movement and strengthened their State management of public order and security affairs.

The local police also paid due attention to Party and force building, ensured logistics, and technical services for professional operations. 

Following the directions of the Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department, the Mai Chau District Party Committee and People's Committee on building houses for poor locals, the police of Mai Chau district and local authorities made a list of 200 households with housing difficulties in the two communes of Hang Kia and Pa Co (Mai Chau district). The recipients are poor families, policy beneficiaries, revolution contributors, typical families, and reputable people.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son and Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee Ngo Van Tuan praised the efforts made by the Hoa Binh provincial police in general and the Mai Chau district police in particular over the past time.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that in the coming time, the police force of Hoa Binh province, especially the Mai Chau police, should continue to grasp the local public order and security situation while improving the effectiveness of crime prevention and fighting. Furthermore, they were asked to attach importance to building a strong Party organization and a strong local police force, encouraging local police officers and soldiers to fulfill their assigned tasks.

Regarding the Housing Project for needy people in Hang Kia commune and Pa Co commune, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son requested the Hoa Binh provincial police and relevant units to review for the list of families in need of houses and suggest house designs suitable for local people’s living customs and practices.
