Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh receives Ambassador of The Republic of India to Vietnam

Hanoi – On September 23rd, Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh – Deputy Minister of Public Security of Vietnam (MPS) received Mr. Harish Parvathaneni – Ambassador of The Republic of India to Vietnam.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh expressed his delight at the improvement and development in Vietnam - India friendship as well as strategic partnership. The relationship between Vietnam Ministry of Public Security and Indian departments has been strengthened and continued to grow in many areas such as security, security & defense cooperation, crime prevention, etc.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh affirmed that Vietnam Ministry of Public Security will do its utmost to contribute to strengthening the traditional relations of friendship and strategic partnership between Vietnam and India. He also hopes Mr. Harish Parvathaneni – Ambassador of The Republic of India to Vietnam will continue to make practical contributions to the promotion of this relationship, as well as the relationship between Vietnam Ministry of Public Security and India Ministry of Home Affair, for peace, stability and development.

Ambassador Harish Parvathaneni stressed that India has always appreciated and promote the cooperation with Vietnam on the basis of the traditional friendly relations between the two countries.

The Ambassador pointed out that, in recent years, the cooperation between the two countries has flourished in all fields; he expressed his confidence in the positive cooperation between Vietnam Ministry of Public Security and relevant India departments in the future in many areas such as security, security & defense cooperation, crime prevention, etc.
