Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh receives former Deputy Prime Minister of Israel
PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security recently hosted a courtesy reception for Mr. Shaul Mofaz, former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Defense, former Chief of General Staff of the Defense Forces of Israel.

At the reception, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh highly appreciated the achievements in many fields of the friendship relations between Vietnam and Israel in general as well as positive outcomes between the Vietnam's Ministry of Public Security and relevant agencies of Israel in particular.
He also underscored that meaningful progresses in security field of Vietnam and Israel had been accelerating the bilateral relations of the two sides, contributing to bringing it to a new high level in width and depth.
In the age of digital technology, big data, the work of ensuring security, safety as well as preventing crimes play an important role. Therefore, he hoped that relevant agencies of the two sides will effectively implement the signed cooperation agreements including exchanging delegation at all levels, transferring information and technology as well as modern electronic equipment in ensuring social order and safety.
At the same time, the two sides should also host more conference or workshop with the aim of sharing experiences in preventing crimes, especially cybercrimes, meeting the growing needs and cooperation potential of the two countries in the current situation.
For his part, Mr. Shaul Mofaz sincerely expressed his gratitude to MPS's eaders for the warm welcome, while highly valueing the sustainable economic development of Vietnam over the past time, with great contributions of the Vietnam Public Security Forces.
He vowed to continuously contribute to promoting the relations between Vietnam and Israel in general as well as relevant agencies of the two sides in particular, for the sake of Vietnamese and Israeli people and for peace and stability in the region and the world.
