PSNews-On September 11, a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) headed by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, visited two seriously injured fire police officers at Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

Deputy Minister Thanh praised the bravery of the two fire officers, namely Corporal Bui Van Dung (20) and Corporal Phan Tan Quoc (24), and wished that they would soon recover and return to work.
Earlier, at 23h15 on September 7, a fire occurred at No 9, 10A Street, Quarter 3, Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District, HCMC. The fire police of HCMC mobilized assets and forces of the Binh Tan District Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Station, including 11 specialized fire engines and 68 officers and soldiers to stamp out the fire. When three fighters were moving in the building on fire, the concrete floor suddenly fell down onto them, killing Captain Pham Phi Long, and seriously injuring Dung and Quoc.
