At the meeting, Major General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Commission, briefed the delegates on the results of inspection work in the past time and major tasks for 2020’s first half.
According to the report, the commission has strictly followed the leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee and the Public Security Central Party Committee drew up an inspection program in 2020 with a focus on 56 basic tasks.
At the meeting, the commission also discussed approaches to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the inspection and supervision work, contributing to raising the quality of Party and force building in the Public Security Forces.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh noted that the Inspection Commission should enhance its work to contribute positively to the success of organization of upcoming Party congresses at all level in the Public Security Forces, in the buildup to the 7th
Party Congress of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the 13th National Party Congress.
The Inspection Commission should also review its apparatus and organization toward efficiency and effectiveness, as well as organize training courses for cadres in charge of inspection at all levels in the Public Security Forces.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh also requested the Inspection Commission to draft coordination mechanisms between the Public Security Central Party Committee and Party committees of provinces and cities in order to overcome limitations and avoid duplication in the inspection, supervision and effectively prevent possible wrongdoings in personnel work.
