Dien Bien Police, Police of China’s Pu’er boost cooperation
PSNews – The Provincial Police of Dien Bien held the 7th annual meeting with the Police of Pu’er city, Yunnan, China on December 6.
In an atmosphere of solidarity, mutual understanding and respect, the two sides discussed and agreed to continue their coordination in disseminating laws of each country and mobilizing people living on both sides of the shared borderline to strictly observe the two countries’ border regulations.
The two police forces also agreed to mobilize people of the two countries not to cross the border illegally nor trade and exchange weapons and explosives across the border.
The two sides agreed to strengthen the border management, boost coordination in preventing and controlling crimes, and build a borderline of peace, stability and development.
At the end of the talks, the Dien Bien Police and Pu’er Police signed a memorandum of understanding on coordination in maintaining security and order along the shared borderline.
