Dien Chau Police praised for achievements

PSNews – Leaders of the Nghe An Provincial Police and the People’s Committee of Dien Chau district on January 12 praised the Police of Dien Chau district for their successes in resolving 2 major drug-related cases in one day.

These were the two biggest-ever drug-related cases in Dien Chau district.
Earlier, the district police on January 11 arrested Nguyen Viet Duong (40, resident of hamlet 7, Quynh Hong commune, Quynh Luu, Nghe An) for his illegal drug trafficking.
Upon urgent search of Duong’s house, functional forces detected and seized more than 1 kilogram of heroin, 6,400 pills of synthetic drugs, 500 grams of crystalline drug and some weapons.
At about 7 pm of the same day, the police of Diem Chau also arrested Luong Anh Phuong (36, resident of Chau Thon commune, Que Phong district) when he was trafficking drugs to Dien Chau for sales. The specialized police squad sized some 300 grams of heroin, 2.5 kilograms of crystalline drug and VND 3 million in cash.
