The Dong Thap Provincial Traffic Police Division on August 16 launched an intensive campaign to ensure traffic safety and order during the 73rd founding anniversary of the People Public Security Forces (August 19) and the National Day (September 2).

During the campaign, the Dong Thap Provincial Traffic Police will mobilize its forces, vehicles and professional technical equipment to enhance patrols and to strictly handle violations of traffic regulations, in order to minimize traffic accidents and traffic congestions in crowded areas and places of entertainment.
The Dong Thap Provincial Traffic Police have also been asked by the provincial police leadership to resolutely prevent illegal motor races and effectively control crimes and other offences on road while intensifying dissemination and education of traffic safety regulations among people.
