Economic Security Department reviews task performance in 2020

Reports at the event said that, in 2020, the Department of Economic Security closely followed the directions and guidelines of the Party, the State, the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leadership of the MPS and successfully fulfilled its main task of protecting economic security.

For its excellent achievements in 2020, the Department of Economic Security has been awarded the first-class Military Exploit Order.

The unit also received 3 Feat of Arms Orders of all classes, while its subunits and officers were awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister and 44 Certificates of Merit by the MPS.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang applauded the efforts and achievements of the Department in 2020.

Regarding its key tasks in 2021, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang urged the unit to take drastic measures to ensure economic security, actively grasp the situation and advise the Party, the State, the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leadership of the MPS on solutions to handle violations in the economic field.

He also asked the department to focus on Party building and force building to meet the requirements of its tasks in the new situation.
