Emulation Grouping 12 committed to strengthening fire prevention and fighting work
PSNews – Fire Police Departments of the 8 provinces of Emulation Grouping 12 on April 4 held a conference to sign a mutual agreement to emulate each other in the movement “For National Security”2018.

The event saw the participation of Major General Do Ngoc Can, Vice Director of the General Department of Politics as well as representatives of the provincial Fire Police Departments of Quang Ninh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien – Hue, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ba Ria – Vung Tau of Emulation Grouping 12 under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) include.
The 8 units agreed to effectively implement resolutions and directives of the Party, the State, the MPS and the local authorities on fire prevention and fighting, give good advises to the local authorities to promote the effectiveness of fire prevention and fighting work, especially in key political, economic and cultural facilities and areas at a high risk of fire and explosion; continue the project “Renovating and promoting the efficiency of dissemination and education of legal regulations and knowledge related to fire prevention and fighting and rescue” with the “4 on-site” motto; and promote good models to raise public awareness of fire prevention and fighting.
In the year of 2018, Emulation Grouping 12 strives to establish local civilian-based fire prevention and fighting teams in 100% villages, residential areas, public places, socio-political projects and economic establishments under its management as well as to organize professional training and refresher courses to ensure effective operations of local fire prevention and fighting activities in localities.
Fire prevention and fighting units will also intensify inspection, promptly correct and strictly handle any violations of the fire prevention and fighting regulations, improve the quality of the process of approving plans and design on fire prevention and fighting, ensuring that 100% projects have fire prevention and fighting designs approved before construction, and 100% complete construction projects are checked by the competent fire prevention and fighting unit before use, in accordance with the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting.
In addition, Emulation Grouping 12 is also committed to accelerating administrative reforms in State management of fire prevention and fighting in all fire prevention and fighting member units while intensifying the implementation of the Party’s Resolution on preventing and holding back manifestations of degradation of the political ideology, morals, lifestyles as well as signs of “self-evolution” and “self-transformation”.
At the same time, the member units should improve their fighting capacity of grassroots-level Party organizations; effectively implement the movement of “Year of personnel and organizational work” with the aim of streamlining the apparatus of the Public Security Forces for more efficiency and effectiveness; and seriously observe disciplines and strengthen the implementation of the regulations, in order to build up the image of fire police officers friendly and devoted to the people.
