English training course opensed for traffic police officers

PSNews – The Traffic Police Division under the Hanoi Municipal Police Department on October 3 opened an A2-level English training course for 55 traffic police officers form 25 traffic police units in Hanoi.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Senior Colonel Pham Van Hau, Deputy Head of the Hanoi Traffic Police Division said, during performing their tasks, Hanoi traffic officers work with foreigners more often nowadays.
For example, traffic police officers have to communicate with foreigners involved in traffic offences and traffic accidents, at vehicle registration offices, or while protecting international events and accompanying international delegations.
“In order to successfully complete these tasks, the command of English is a necessary requirement of the Hanoi Traffic Police Force”, Senior Colonel Hau affirmed.
The training course lasts 20 days.
