First ever female police officer appointed as Vice Director

PSNews – Colonel Vo Thi Hoai Ngoc, Head of the Lap Vo District Police Station, was appointed by the Minister of Public Security to the position of Vice Director of the Dong Thap Provincial Police Department.

The Dong Thap Provincial Police Department on February 17 hosted a ceremony to announce decisions of the Minister of Public Security on personnel.

At the ceremony, Major General Le Tan Toi, Director of the Department for Organization and Personnel, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, announced the decision to appoint Senior Colonel Vo Thi Hoai Ngoc, Head of the Lap Vo District Police Station, to the position of Vice Director of the Dong Thap Provincial Police Department.

Colonel Vo Thi Hoai Ngoc is the first ever female police officer appointed by the Ministry of Public Security to the position of Vice Director of Dong Thap Police.

Senior Colonel Vo Thi Hoai Ngoc, born in 1977, holds a Master’s degree in security Reconnaissance.

She held the positions of leader of the Professional Work Section under the Provincial  Security Investigation Division, Deputy Head then Head of the Provincial Political Work Division, and Head of the Lap Vo District Police Station. 

At the event, the Director of the Dong Thap Provincial Police Department asked the newly appointed officer to continue to heighten her sense of responsibility for work, promote the unit’s solidarity and join common effort with other leaders of the Dong Thap Police to successfully fulfill all assigned tasks.
