France transferred in-depth medical techniques to two public security hospitals

PSNews - Major General Tran Van Sau - Director of hospital 19-8 expressed his delight at the cooperation and pledged to create good conditions for French experts to train with local medical workers.   

The Department of Health under the General Department of Logistics and Techniques of the Public Security Ministry on April 17 signed a cooperation contract with French partners on in-depth medical technique transfer. 

This was the first time, public security hospitals cooperated with foreign partners in training in-depth techniques. This move aims to improve the quality of healthcare at public security hospitals, meeting an increasing need for health examination and treatment of today’s society.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Pham Quang Cu, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics and Techniques stated that in an effort to develop the health sector of the public security forces, the Ministry of Public Security had earlier asked the French Embassy in Vietnam to connect the sector to prestigious medical units of France for cooperation.

Under the newly-signed contract, 10 training courses will be held for doctors and specialists of the Public Security Forces’ hospital 19-8 and hospital 30-4. In addition, the Ministry of Public Security hoped that the French Embassy in Vietnam would continue supporting the public security hospitals in the time ahead.

Mr.Frederic Bismut - Director of Mediguard hospital highly appreciated this collaboration and wished that the two sides will continue cooperation on more modern technologies, helping the public security hospitals better serve officers, soldiers and people.
