G.D 8 Youth Union starts Youth Month 2018

PSNews - The Youth Union of the Police General Department of Criminal Verdict Execution and Judicial Assistance (G.D 8) on March 7 organized a solemn ceremony to kick off the Youth Month 2018 with various meaningful actions.

During the month, the G.D 8 Youth Union will implement a number of meaningful activities to educate young police officers about the traditions of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; to implement the third phase of the movement in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s sending the 6 teachings to Public Security Forces and 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s call for patriotic emulation.

The Director of the G.D 8 beats the drum to kick off the Youth Month 2018 and the tree planting festival themed “Forever Grateful to President Ho Chi Minh”.

At the ceremony, the general department’s young police officers also undertook the projects and missions to be implemented in the month, which will be specific and meaningful activities to promote the vanguard role of youths in completing assigned tasks.

Addressing the event, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Bang, Director of the G.D 8 recognized that the G.D 8 Youth Union in recent times has closely followed the assigned political tasks in organizing and deploying many important emulation movements and campaigns.

He urged the G.D 8’s Youth Union to continue promoting their vanguard role to complete all assigned tasks and to well implement activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s sending six teachings to the Public Security Forces.

On the occasion, the G.D 8’s Youth Union also held a blood donation festival in response to the “Blood Donation for Dear Comrades.” Nearly 400 blood units were collected by the end of the day.
