GDP meets with wounded soldiers and relatives of martyrs

PSNews – On the occasion of the 70th Day for Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 – 2017), the General Department of Politics (GDP) held a meeting with wounded soldiers and relatives of martyrs who used to work with GDP.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Muoi, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics chaired the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Muoi stated that, following the teaching of President Ho Chi Minh, over the past years, the Central Public Security Party Committee, leaders of the Public Security Ministry as well as the Central Public Security Party Organization and leaders of GDP have actively carried out gratitude activities over the past time.

On this occasion, GDP advised leaders of the Public Security Ministry to organize numerous gratitude activities, such as offering wreaths and incense at historical sites; visiting and presenting gifts to policy families, revolution contributors, nursing centers for wounded policemen.

These gratitude activities have significantly contributed to supporting public security officers and soldiers in fulfilling their assignments.

In the coming time, the public security force will continuously enhance dissemination of the patriotic tradition and the living philosophy "Gratitude is the sign of noble souls”; and take due care of wounded soldiers and martyrs’ families.

At the meeting, on behalf of leaders of GDP, Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Muoi and Senior Colonel Nguyen Hai Trung handed over gifts to wounded soldiers and relatives of martyrs.
