General Department of Logistics-Techniques holds gratitude activities in Quang Ngai

PSNews – A working mission of the General Department of Logistics-Techniques led by its Deputy Director, Major General Nguyen Van Du in collaboration with Da Nang-based Hospital 199 (Da Nang branch) and the Quang Ngai Provincial Police organized several meaningful gratitude activities in Mo Duc district, on July 15.

This is part of a course of activities to commemorate the 70th War Invalids’ and Martyrs’ Days and the 70th Traditional Day of the public security logistics-techniques sector.

In Mo Duc, the mission presented 10 packs of gifts worth of VND 1.1 million each to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers residing in the district, 10 500,000 VND-valued gifts to needy local policemen with difficulties and revolution contributor families.

The mission also sent 330 packs of gifts with a total value of 66 million VND to policy beneficiary families, presented 2 sphygmomanometer and two five-sense testing kits to Mo Duc District Hospital.

The mission also offered free heath checkups and medicines to 350 members of policy beneficiary families in Mo Duc district.

The free heath checkups would help local residents of Mo Duc district improve awareness of their heath to have a better life and contribute more to building a beautiful and civilized homeland. It would also deepen ties between public security forces with localities.

Within the framework of the activities in Mo Duc district, on the evening of July 14, the working mission of the General Department of Logistics-Technique and Hospital 199 also held a candle lighting ceremony at the Mo Duc District Martyrs’ Cemetery and presented 5 million VND to the management board of the cemetery.
