General Department of Logistics and Techniques promotes cooperation with Russian medical units

PSNews - In Moscow, the delegation worked with the Center for Stem Cell Research; and the Center for Clinical Research and Physical-Chemical Medicine of the Russian Federal Medical Biological Agency.  

Lieutenant General Pham Quang Cu, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics and Techniques under the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam led a delegation to pay a working visit to Russia from September 29 to October 7.

The visit aimed to exchange experience in medicine with several medical centers in Moscow and the Kazan State Medical University.

The delegation also included Deputy Directors of the Traditional medicine Hospital of Public Security and other experts.

In Moscow, the delegation worked with the Center for Stem Cell Research; and the Center for Clinical Research and Physical-Chemical Medicine of the Russian Federal Medical Biological Agency. 

At the meeting, the two sides discussed about the stem cell application in treatment, exchanged experiences and sought to gear up cooperation programmes such as opening training courses on basic stem cell in treatment and planting stem cell on some patients.

At the Kazan State Medical University, representatives of the university briefed the delegation of the General Department of Logistics and Techniques on their main operational orientations and achievements in training medical workers.

The two sides also discussed the establishment of a long-term relationship in various fields, including the application of Vietnamese traditional medicine in Kazan, staff training and joint scientific research.
