General Police Department to open Int’l Seminar on wanted criminals

PSN - On October 3, General Police Department under Vietnam's Ministry of Public Security held a conference on organization of the International Seminar on issues related to wanted criminals.

Lieutenant General Phan Van Vinh, General Director of the General Police Department, head of the International Seminar on issues related to wanted criminals, chaired the conference.

The conference were also attended by Lieutenant General Nguyen Cong Son, Deputy General Director of the General Police Department and representatives of the functional units under the Ministry of Public Security.

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Phan Van Vinh stressed, the Seminar will be organized to enhance cooperation and exchange experience between the Vietnam’s People Police Forces and int’l police forces on the issues related to wanted criminals.

He asked the members of the Organizing Committee to collect opinions of the delegates at the conference and suggested all units to positive participate with a high sense of responsibility, to ensure the success of the Seminar.

The Seminar will focus on four main topics:

  1.  Introduction of the typical case of the countries participating in the Seminar on the work related to Wanted Criminals;
  2. Organizational structures of specialized agencies in charge of the work related to Wanted Criminals;
  3. The problems, proposals and solutions to improve efficiency in the collaboration among countries on the issues related to wanted criminals;
  4. Introduction of examples of international cooperation on issues related to wanted criminals.

The Seminar will take place in Hanoi from October 18 to October 20.
