Good examples in of People's Police Academy’s emulation movement honored

The People's Police Academy on May 22 held a meeting to review the emulation movement "For National Security" in the period of 2015 – 2020 as well as praise excellent teams and good examples in the emulation movement.

Over the past five years, teachers and lecturers at the People's Police Academy have received various honors and awards at ministerial-level “Good Teacher” contests, making the academy ranked as one of the leading educational institutions in the People’s Public Security Forces.

Over the past years, the scientific research movement launched by the People's Police Academy has seen 906 research projects with the participation of 2,500 students. Annually, the academy has 10 excellent scientific research projects awarded by the Ministry of Public Security.

99% of the academy’s students have passed their training courses. Of the figure, some 80% have achieved excellent and good grades.

At the meeting, 15 units and 75 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit form the academy’s leadership for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh recognized and praised the achievements obtained by the excellent teams and individuals over the past five years.

Regarding orientations in the coming time, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh requested the People's Police Academy to promote the movement "For Homeland Security" with creative forms and practical contents, contributing to successfully fulfilling their tasks assigned by the Party, the State, and the Ministry of Public Security.
