PSNews – Due to the negative impact of the latest COVID-19 outbreak, a large number of people went home from the COVID-19 hotspots of HCMC and some southern provinces, passing through Ha Tinh Province, on July 27.

Recognizing the situation, police officers working at the COVID-19 checkpoint on the southern gateway to the province coordinated with the provincial Red Cross chapter and some agencies in Ky Anh town to prepare foods and drinks for travelers.

At 6 pm on July 27, a group of 130 people on 73 motorbikes travelling from some southern provinces and cities, reached the COVID-19 checkpoint of Ky Anh town. They were on their journey to their home towns and villages in Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh.

The on-duty force stopped the group to make medical declarations. During the time, local forces provided bread, milk and water to the travelers.

The on-duty forces also sent a coach to transport exhausted people home, and guided the travelers to go through Ha Tinh Province.

Travelers extended their thanks to the on-duty forces at the Ha Tinh COVID-19 checkpoint.
