Haiphong Fire police praises outstanding models in 2016

On September 22^nd, Hai Phong Fire police praised outstanding models in fire prevention and fighting in 2016 under the People's Committees of wards, communes, organizations and companies in the city. Major General Nguyen Van Son has attended.

Hai Phong city has over 20,000 organizations and companies working actively concentrating in 12 industrial parks and 2 industrial complexes with lots of agencies and manufactures in the high risk of fire.

Awarded the title to the units

Especially many establishments exist potentially risk of fire in residential areas, transportation infrastructure, also the water sources for firefighting is inadequate. Along with that, people awareness and knowledge on firefighting are limited.

Facing this situation, Haiphong Fire police has focused on directing the promotion of outstanding models of fire protection, to be the core samples of the movement of citizen participating in fire protection, according to seven criteria of outstanding units set by Ministry of Public Security.

In 2016, Haiphong fire police has praised 79 units of outstanding models. At the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Director of the General Political Department, Ministry of Public Security and Major General Le Quoc Tran, Director of Fire prevention & fighting force have awarded certificates to all the units achieved the title.
