Hanoi Municipal Police post full-time police officers to commune-level posts

PSNews - The Municipal Police Department of Hanoi organized a ceremony on April 1 to announce a decision to deploy professional officers to communal police posts of 23 communes of 13 districts. Lieutenant General Doan Duy Khuong, Director of the Hanoi Municipal Police chaired the event.

Attending the event, Lieutenant Tran Thi Ngoc Dep, Director of the Department of Building of the Movement “All people protecting national security”, underlined that the deployment of professional police officers to communal posts was an important policy of the Party, State and a significant task of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS).

According to statistics, there have been over 3,000 professional police officers have so far been deployed to communal police posts across the country.

Lieutenant General Doan Duy Khuong also emphasized the important role of the communal police post, particularly in promoting coordination with units under the district-level police station, local Party committee and authority as well as in mobilizing local people to implement the policies of the Party, the laws of the State and the movement of “All people protecting national security.”

The Director of the Hanoi Police Department has directed relevant agencies under the department to review issues related to the project and provide the most favorable conditions for the newly-posted officers to accomplish their new missions, contributing to improving the security and order situation in localities in the city of Hanoi.
