Hanoi Police Force founds Theoretical Council
PSNews - Upon approval of the Public Security Ministry and the Hanoi People's Committee, the Hanoi Police Force held a ceremony to announce the decision on the foundation of the Theoretical Council of the Hanoi Municipal Police, on November 23rd afternoon.
Accordingly, the Theoretical Council of the Hanoi Police Force includes 21 members. Major General, Ass. Prof. Bach Thanh Dinh, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Police Force is the chairman.

The Theoretical Council will serve as an advisor to the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security, the People's Council and People's Committee of Hanoi based on its results from its researching and summarizing practical and theoretical issues; and will propose solutions and strategies to ensure security and social order.
The council will also be equipped with facilities and necessary technical equipment in order to successfully fulfill all assignments.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Major General Doan Duy Khuong, Director of the Hanoi Police stressed that the Theoretical Council should continue thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing resolutions, directives and instructions of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security in promoting theoretical work in the current situation.
The council should also review and summarize experiences and draw lessons from important cases, contributing to developing theory in terms of crime prevention.
In addition, Major General Doan Duy Khuong encouraged the council to research new issues, especially issues relating to non-traditional security, security industry development, contributing to ensuring national security, social order and safety.
