Hanoi Police honors 733 excellent individuals in following Uncle Ho's Six Teachings

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event.
During the five-year implementation of the Minister of Public Security's Directive No.5 on "Promoting the movement of Public Security Forces studying and following Uncle Ho’s six teachings in period 2013-2018", the Hanoi Municipal Police have attained many important achievements.
Over the past 5 years, as many as 390 organizations and 733 individuals with excellent performances in the movement “Learning and following Uncle Ho's Six Teachings” have been rewarded by the Chief of the Municipal Police while 1,688 good examples in crime prevention and fight have been honored by both the city’s police and the city's authority.
For their outstanding achievements, the Hanoi Municipal Police have received the Flag “Excellent Unit in the Movement "For National Security"” in the past 11 consecutive years, from the Prime Minister while many outstanding subordinate agencies and units have been awarded Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of Public Security and the Hanoi Municipal People's Committee, 5 units presented the title of "Hero of the People's Armed Forces".
Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son congratulated the achievements of the Hanoi Police in the movement "Public Security Forces studying and following Uncle Ho's Six Teachings" in period 2013-2018, and praised excellent organizations and individuals.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also urged the city’s police in the coming time to actively roll out the plan to implement Directive No.5 in the period 2018-2023.
Under the plan, each agency or unit of the city’s police should develop Uncle Ho's Six Teachings into standards of morals, and life and working styles, and set specific criteria for their emulation movement.
