Hanoi Traffic Police deploy force to handle wrong parking

PSNews – The Hanoi Traffic Police Division on December 7 launched a drive to handle car parking faults to ensure traffic order and safety in the year-end time.

According to Senior Colonel Duong Duc Hai, Head of the Hanoi Traffic Police Division, the drive is part of the local police’s intensive campaign to suppress crimes and ensure security and order in the buildup to the 13th National Party Congress and the 2021 Lunar New Year Festival.
Lieutenant Colonel Trang Quang Vinh, police officer at the Hanoi Traffic Police Division informed that, parking faults will be fined 400.000 to 600.000 VND according to the regulations.
In addition, the traffic police officers will also explain drivers about the parking regulations in order to raise their awareness of obeying the traffic laws during the drive.
Senior Colonel Duong Duc Hai also stated that the Hanoi Traffic Police Division is determined to end the wrong parking situation so as to reduce the risk of traffic congestion and accidents in the city.
