Hanoi Traffic Police helps lost boy find his family

Two officers of Traffic Police team No.7 of the Traffic Police Division under the Hanoi Municipal Police Department have helped a lost little boy find his family.

At 5 pm on December 30, when Captain Nguyen Cao Thang and Senior Lieutenant Do Manh Cuong were working at the intersection of Nguyen Trai – Khuat Duy Tien, they spotted a kid walking on the road crying.

The two traffic police officers came to the kid and asked him about his parents’ names and his home address. But, the boy couldn’t remember as he was very frightened, cold and hungry. 

They took the boy to the traffic booth nearby and provided him with food, then took him to the Thanh Xuan Trung Ward Police Office, and at the same time searched for his parents.

At 6pm on same day, the police found his mother. They then informed his mother, named Tran Phu Dan (aged 44, residing in Trung Van Ward, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi City) of her lost son.

Mrs. Dan said that, her child named Nguyen Thien Duc Anh, aged 6. He went out with his family to the Royal City Shopping Centre before getting lost. The family was so worried about him and was looking for him, before receiving the good news from Traffic Police team No.7 and the Thanh Xuan Trung Ward Police force.

The family then went to the police post to receive their lost son.
