Hanoi police provide free facemasks to people amid nCoV epidemic

In response to the spread of the acute respiratory infection caused by a new strain of Corona virus, the Hanoi police has offered thousands of free facemasks for people.

The Hanoi’s Mobile Police Regiment in collaboration with the Phuong Mai Ward Police on February 8 offered 15,000 free medical facemasks to passers-by at the gates of Hanoi French Hospital (HFH) in Phuong Mai Street.

Since February 1, Hanoi police officers have handed out around 100,000 face masks for free in several public spaces.

In response to the spread of the acute respiratory infection caused by a new strain of Corona virus, police forces in other provinces and cities across the country offered free facemasks for people.

Earlier, in Dong Nai, the Traffic Police Team under the Bien Hoa City Police Station provided free medical facemasks for people and workers travelling at some local intersections and routes.

In Nghe An, the traffic police force offered thousands of facemasks to people traveling on the roads. Local traffic police officers and soldiers gave free medical facemasks to people on the road, especially coach drivers and passengers at road intersections.
