High ranking public security officers appointed to new positions

• Minister To Lam to take floor at Q&A session of National Assembly's Standing Committee

• Minister To Lam meets Secretary-General of the National Security Council of Thailand

Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security has just signed decisions to appoint holders of judicial titles of the Public Security Investigation Agency, Criminal Investigation Agency; Management Agency for Criminal Verdict Execution and Management Agency of Custody and Detention under the Ministry of Public Security.

The decisions read:

* Minister of Public Security appointed Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam (aged 63), Deputy Minister of Public Security as Head of the Public Security Investigation Agency under the Ministry of Public Security.

Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong and Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son.

* Minister of Public Security appointed Major General Ly Anh Dung (57), Director of the Security Investigation Department, to the post of the Permanent Deputy Head of the Public Security Investigation Agency under the Ministry of Public Security.

* Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong (62), Deputy Minister of Public Security was appointed to the post of the Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency under the Ministry of Public Security.

* Lieutenant General Tran Van Ve (59), Head of the Criminal Investigation Office, was appointed as Permanent Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency under the Ministry of Public Security.

* The Minister also named three other high-ranking officers as Deputy Heads of the Criminal Investigation Agency:

1- Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc (54), Director of the Investigation Police Department of Crimes of Corruption, Economy, and Smuggling.

2- Major General Pham Van Cac (58), Director of the Investigation Police Department of Drug-Related Crimes.

3-Senior Colonel Tran Ngoc Ha (50), Director of the Investigation Police Department of Social Order Crimes.

*Minister of Public Security also decided Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son (57), Deputy Minister of Public Security, to hold the post of the Head of the Management Agency for Criminal Verdict Execution and Management Agency of Custody and Detention under the Ministry of Public Security.

* Lieutenant General Ho Thanh Dinh (58) was appointed as Permanent Deputy Head of the Management Agency for Criminal Verdict Execution.

* Major General Le Minh Hung (55) was appointed as Permanent Deputy Head of the Management Agency of Custody and Detention under the Ministry of Public Security.
