Hundreds of Police officers deployed during First Moon Festival
PSNews – Hundreds of police officers deployed to ensure security and order during the First Full Moon Festival in Cho Lon, Ho Chi Minh City, where thousands of people joined a grand marching and celebration.

Despite the extreme heat, a large number of people still crowded out along various streets, including Hai Thuong Lan Ong, Chau Van Liem, Nguyen Trai or Tran Hung Dao, causing traffic congestion.
Hundreds of police officers of District 5 and the Criminal Police under HCMC Municipal Police, Traffic Police and 113 Police and local quasi-armed forces were deployed to ensure security and order in hot spots.

At 4.30 pm, the public carnival parade kicked off with people in costumes acting like various fictional characters and traditional fairies, and move along the streets of Chau Van Liem, Lao Tu, Luong Nhu Hoc…amid cheers and excitement of all people.
Meanwhile, the police and quasi-military forces worked hard to guide traffic and maintain security and order in the streets.
Thanks to their great efforts, the festival ran smoothly without any accidents while public security, order and safety were ensured.
