Hundreds of fight-fighters take part in fire-drill at Dung Quat oil refinery

PSNews – Nearly 300 fire-fighting police officers and 25 specialized vehicles of the Quang Ngai, Quang Nam and Binh Dinh provincial fire police departments on February 24 have joined a fire-fighting drill at the Dung Quat oil refinery.

The fire-drill, taking place at the Dung Quat oil refinery of the Dung Quat Economic Zone (Binh Thuan commune, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province), was held by the Ministry of Public Security in collaboration with the Quang Ngai Provincial People Committee.

Some of local provincial police units; radio – television centers and enterprises of Quang Ngai province were also mobilized to the drill.

The drill was successfully conducted. Via the exercise, the local fire-fighting police force could improve their skills and readiness to ensure safety and security for the Dung Quat oil refinery.

The exercise, according to organizers, also promoted coordination efficiency between relevant units in carrying out missions of fire-fighting and rescue or in solving complex problems, contributing to ensuring security and order, serving economic development of the country.
