Investigation police on drug-related crimes donate for the battle with COVID-19

To join the common effort in the fight against COVID-19, the Investigation Police Department on Drug-related Crimes under the Ministry of Public Security on April 13 donated VND 115,310,000 to the Fund for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

After the Prime Minister, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee and the Ministry of Public Security called on all citizens to offer donations to the fight against COVID-19, the Investigation Police Department on Drug-related Crimes launched a fund-raising, mobilizing all of its police officers, soldiers and civilian employees to contribute to the Anti-COVID-19 Fund.

The proceeds mounted to VND 115,310,000.  On behalf of all police officers, soldiers and employees of the agency, Senior Colonel Vu Van Hau, Deputy Director of the Investigation Police Department on Drug-related Crimes presented the sum to the VFF Central Committee.

Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice Chairwoman of the VFF Central Committee hailed the donation of the police officers, soldiers and employees of the agency.
