Investigation police requested to improve working efficiency

PSNews - General To Lam, Politburo Member, Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a keynote speech at the conference of the Police Investigation Agency under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), on April 4. The meeting reviewed the investigation police force’s task performance in Q1.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the event. The conference also saw the presence of leaders of offices and units under the Police Investigation Agency and 9 Provincial/Municipal Police Departments.

Speaking at the event, General To Lam applauded the efforts of the investigation police force in general and the Agency in particular, that had quickly stabilized its organizational structure and avoided any interruption of the force’s operation or delays of investigation processes.

He also asked the Agency to raise its officers’ awareness of the importance of criminal investigation as well as of policies of the Party and laws of the State. More importantly, all officers of the force should always innovate their thinking and working methods to meet the task requirements in the current times.

Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong thanked Minister To Lam and other delegates for their ideas and opinions. He also pointed out 16 major issues in investigation processes facing police investigation agencies at all levels.
