PSNews - A Japanese visitor named Hidenori Ushio (aged 49), on June 21 sent a letter to thank the Criminal Police Division under the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department for returning his lost valuable assets to him.

In his letter, Mr. Hidenori Ushio expressed his deep feelings and thanks to the Director of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police, the Head of the Criminal Police Division under the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department, and the police officers who had investigated, verified and returned his lost property.

"I was very surprised and moved. I couldn't think I would be able to receive my property in such a short time. I am very grateful to the Vietnamese police. The police officers participating in the investigation must have worked very hard to quickly return the lost property to me. This is a good experience for me during my working trip to Vietnam", Mr. Hidenori Ushio wrote in the letter.

Earlier on June 13, Mr. Hidenori Ushio and his relatives took a taxi to visit Hue City. When the taxi had gone away, Ushio found that he host his leather wallet containing 435 USD, 6,000 Japanese yen, 7 credit cards and  one million VND.

As soon as the information was reported, the Thua Thien Hue Criminal Police Division quickly identified the taxi driver and communicated with him on the phone asking him to search for Mr. Ushio's leather wallet. Luckily, it was still in the taxi.

Shortly after that, the taxi driver handed over all the wallet with all money and papers to the police to return to the Japanese man.
