Leader of MPS meets reputable persons from Tra Vinh

PSNews – Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security on November 27 held a meeting with 31 delegates, representing over 600 reputable persons in Tra Vinh province, during their visit to the Ministry of Public Security (MPS).

At the meeting, Mr. Thach Mu Ni, Deputy Head of the Tra Vinh Provincial Committee for Ethnic Affairs briefed the Deputy Minister and delegates on the achievements made by reputable persons of Tra Vinh over the time.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the MPS, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc thanked the people, the reputable persons, the revolutionary veterans and national contributors of Tra Vinh province for their support for the Public Security Forces in the social security and order protection cause.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc stressed that, the achievements attained by Tra Vinh province’s people in the past wars for national liberation as well as in the current national construction and defense cause have been significantly contributed by the ethnic minority communities of Tra Vinh in general and the reputable persons of the ethnic minority groups in particular.

The Deputy Minister hoped that the reputable persons of Tra Vinh province will continue cementing solidarity among all local ethnic minorities while serving as a bridge between the local people and the authorities at all levels, mobilizing all people to successfully implement the guidelines and policies of the Party and State.

Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc also hoped that the local police forces will strengthen the ties with local ethnic minority communities, and collaborate with the local people to ensure social security and order and build a better life for each family and each village.
