Leader of MPS works with Mai Chau District Police

PSNews - Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security on May 9 led a working mission to visit and work with the Mai Chau District Police, Hoa Binh province.

According to a report presented by Senior Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Minh, Head of Mai Chau District Police, in the first 6 months of 2018, the unit has actively grasped the situation, promptly advised the local authorities on policies and methods to ensure security and order.

The unit also focused on fighting crime, and the success rate of criminal investigations was high while expanding the scale and improving the quality of the movement of "All people protecting National Security". The State management on security and order also witnessed many positive changes.

On behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of Ministry of Public Security (MPS), Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son praised the achievements of the Mai Chau District Police in the past time. He also expressed his empathy for the difficulties that local police officers and soldiers had to overcome during the fight against crimes, especially drug-related crimes.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son stressed that, the situation of crime and social evils still includes risks and challenges, requiring the Mai Chau District Police to strive to complete their yearly working plans.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son then urged the Mai Chau District Police to well conduct political and traditional education drives for police officers and soldiers, especially at a time when the Ministry of Public Security is implementing the Party Central Committee’s Resolution No.4 of the 12th Party Central Committee on Party building and Central Resolution No.6 on organization reform.

The unit should also give good advice to the local Party Committee and People's Committee on implementing policies of the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security and the provincial authority, ensuring security and order, as well as on renewing the movement "All people protecting national security" in order to promote the comprehensive strength of the whole political system.
