MPS Office presents 1,000 national flags to fishermen
PSNews - The Office of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on August 21 presented 1,000 national flags and 5 million VND to fishermen via the Department of Political Work of Border Guard.
This activity was in response to a program launched by the Command of Border Guard calling on agencies, organizations and individuals to present national flags and support fishermen across the country.
Speaking at the gift-presenting ceremony, Major General Tran Duc Tuan, Vice Head of the MPS Office, emphasized that the Office was well aware of the significance of the program, saying that the program aims to mobilize fishermen to participate in protecting national maritime sovereignty while they do economic activities at sea.
At the event, the MPS Office presents 1,000 national flags and 5 million VND to local fishermen via the Border Guard force.
Major General Le Nhu Duc, Vice Head of the Political Department of Border Guard, thanked the MPS Office for their donation and affirmed that the flags would be delivered to fishermen soon.
