MPS delegation pays tribute to Uncle Ho

PSNews - On the occasion of the 129th Birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – 2019) and 50th Anniversary of the implementation of Uncle Ho’s Will, a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), led by Senior Lieutenant General, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh, visited and incensed at the memorial site of Uncle Ho's 6 teachings in Tan Yen District, Bac Giang.

Delegates paid tribute and expressed their gratitude to the great contributions of Uncle Ho as well as the martyrs who sacrificed themselves for national independence and freedom, and peace and happiness of the people, as well as recalled the outstanding achievements of the Public Security Force in training, working and implementing Uncle Ho’s Will.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh highlighted the importance of the teachings of Uncle Ho, emphasizing that over the last 50 years, the Public Security Forces have seriously followed the Will as well as the 6 teachings of Uncle Ho.

The Public Security Forces have fulfilled all given tasks, built a strong, transparent, elite and step-by-step modern force, and gained various outstanding achievements in all fields. Particularly, 130,000 officers and soldiers of the Public Security Forces were honored; 8 were killed and 401 others were injured; 86 were exposed to HIV while doing their duties last year. The efforts and sacrifices of the Public Security Forces contributed to strengthening security and order of the society, and peace and happiness of the people.

On the same day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh and the delegation also visited and presented gifts to 20 policy families in Tan Yen.
