MPS delegation works with Thua Thien - Hue Police

PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security, and a working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on January 4 had a meeting with Thua Thien – Hue Provincial Police on Party and force building work.

Leaders of the Provincial Police briefed the deputy minister and the delegation on various results of the unit’s Party and force building, ensuring security and social order in the province. 

Deputy Minister Thanh asked the provincial police force to further promote the ideological and political education, attach importance to the implementation of Resolution 6 of the 12th Party Central Committee and directions of the Central Public Security Party Committee, contributing to building a strong, regular and clean police force of Thua Thien Hue.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh also inspected the Citizen Reception Center of the Thua Thien - Hue Police at 50 Tran Cao Van street, Hue city. The deputy minister highly appreciated the efforts of the police force of the province in administrative reforms with the aim of better serving the people, making their contributions to promoting local economic, cultural and social development.

On the same day, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, led a delegation to check the preparation to ensure security and order for Tet of Thua Thien – Hue Police.

Senior Colonel Le Quoc Hung, Director of Thua Thien – Hue Provincial Police briefed the deputy minister on various outcomes related to security and order gained by the provincial police forces in 2017.

At the working session 

Deputy Minister Son praises the achievements of the provincial police in all areas of police works.

He also urged the provincial police to further strive to prevent and curb criminal activities and maintain security and social order in the area.
