MPS ensures security and safety for all levels of Party Congress in Hanoi

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security (MPS), Head of the Subcommittee in charge of ensuring security and safety for Party congresses at all levels recently led a delegation to work with the Hanoi Municipal Police Department and the High Command of Guard Police in Hanoi.

Under the leadership of the MPS and local authorities on the work of ensuring security for the Party congresses at all levels and the upcoming 13th National Party Congress, the Hanoi police have actively implemented plans, and mobilized forces and means to maintain security and order in the city.

In addition, the Hanoi police coordinated with the Hanoi Capital Military High Command under the Ministry of Defense of Vietnam to play their major role in ensuring national defense and security, maintaining social order and safety, and promoting the “All people protect national security”. Meanwhile, they collaborated with local civil protection forces and civil defense forces in patrols and checks to prevent, detect and handle crimes.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam requested that leaders of the Hanoi police should make all local police officers clearly understand that their work of ensuring public order and security in the city from now until the ending of the 13th National Party Congress is a special political mission of the local police forces.

General Nam asked the Hanoi police to pay due attention to cyber security, information and communication security as well as to implement measures to ensure fire safety and traffic order and safety before and during the Party Congress at all levels in Hanoi.

* On the same day, Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam led the delegation to work with the High Command of Guard Police on the force’s implementation of the task of protecting security for local Party congress and the 13th National Party Congress.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam and the delegates also visited the Information and Command Center of the High Command of Guard Police and checked the operation and features of technical equipment and devices at the center.
